Congratulations to the 2017 Board of Directors for InfraGard Middle Tennessee Members Alliance. We had 9 eligible InfraGard members, including 6 returning board members, step forward to serve next year. In the coming weeks the board will meet and vote on the four officer positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Don Baham, the current chapter President, will remain involved and transition to the Advisory Committee next year.
Mike Thornhill
I have over 20 years in the entertainment and private security fields. I am currently Chief of Campus Security at Cumberland University in Lebanon TN. I work closely with the V.P. of Campus Services and local law enforcement agencies in our area in a continuing effort to keep our campus safe.
I am president of Private Officer International Nashville TN Chapter 301 and Board Member of Private Officer International. Private Officer International is a security and law enforcement organization. POI along with Armour College trains security and law enforcement personnel across the US we have over 4000 members worldwide.
I am a proud member of FBI Nashville Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Executive Board member of FBI’s InfraGard Middle Tennessee Members Alliance, TN Association of Chiefs of Police, TN Gang Investigators Association, TN Sheriff’s Association,International Foundation for Protection Officers, International Association For Counterterrorism & Security Professionals and Texas Ranger Law Enforcement Association. Frank E Platt
Frank Platt provides management consulting services for organizations across the U.S. and around the globe. He assists organizations evaluate their security posture and develop comprehensive programs meeting their specific goals.
Frank consults with global fortune 100 companies including FedEx, HCA, NFL, NASCAR, United Technologies, as well as many smaller organizations in healthcare, finance, smart-manufacturing, energy, and transportation. He has a proven career spanning 30 years in IT with the past 14 focused on cyber-security management consulting. Frank holds a CISSP (107408) in good standing with ISC 2 and is an active and past boardmember with ISSA, ISACA, ACP, and InfraGard.
Ron Smith
I have been in the financial services industry for over 25 years with my initial position being that of a bank teller. From there I have had experience in lending, loan servicing, repossessions (I was the repo man), customer service, management and Sr. management, and most other aspects of banking and credit union processes.
I belong to the Mt Moriah Masonic Lodge in Murfreesboro and the Former Texas Ranger’s Masonic Lodge. I am also a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and within the Chamber I am a member of the CEO Roundtable. I am currently the incoming President for the Madison/Rivergate Chamber. I am also working with Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital partnership with Credit Unions. I also belong to BUNCO, Financial Crimes Roundtable and the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. I have served on the InfraGard Board for the last year as well as serving as the Chief Security Officer for ESCU.
Bradley Lide
Bradley is a security professional with over 35 years of management and field experience in both the IT and physical security industries, in both enterprise and retail environments. Bradley served for 12 years as President of CyberAngel Security Solutions, a data protection and hardware tracking/recovery technology company. Since 2013, he serves as a technical sales engineer for SertintyONE, an innovative data security company. Bradley is a founding member of the Middle Tennessee InfraGard Members Alliance, serving as Secretary, Vice President, and four consecutive terms as President. He has served a three-year term on the InfraGard National Board, and continues to serve the national organization by participating on several committees and initiatives.
Dan Wittig
CISSP certified security professional with over 25 years experience. Experience spans across all domains of Information Security to include, Risk Management, SAP and Application level security, Threat Management, O/S level security, project and program management, as well as physical and personnel security. Experience spans beyond the borders of the USA and includes Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East.

Gina Pruitt
Gina Pruitt is the member-in-charge of the risk assurance & advisory services practice with KraftCPAs. Her responsibilities include IT audit and consulting, risk management, internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley audits, service organization control (SOC) reports, payment card industry data security standards compliance, network security assessment and network vulnerability assessment. Gina also oversees regulatory testing related to IT controls for financial institutions and SOC attestation engagements.
Gina has more than 30 years of experience, with 10 years in Big 4 public accounting as the partner in charge of the Deloitte’s Nashville practice of enterprise risk services (ERS). Gina served as the national healthcare industry partner for ERS; in addition, she was the southeast regional director for internal audit services. Her clients included the world’s largest tire/rubber manufacturer with more than $2.5 billion in annual revenue as well as a nationwide restaurant and retail chain with more than 600 locations and $2.6 billion in annual revenue. She was responsible for performing the annual internal audit risk assessment, developing the annual internal audit plan, hiring and managing more than 40 staff members and developing and presenting audit reports to the audit committee and board.

Robert Banniza
Robert has 19 years in IT within the Healthcare, Telecommunications and Retail sectors. The majority of those years have been spent managing the equation of risk related to HIPAA, HITECH, SOX and PCI on a Fortune 100 network with Information Security. The demonstrated ability to manage a highly-skilled team led his team to being considered in the top 10 percent tested by one of the nation’s top audit firms.
As a security engineer, Robert has led multi-million dollar projects by integrating people, processes and technologies to provide a best of breed solution. These solutions were cost-effective, centrally managed and highly available to produce the decision reporting needed by executive management.
As a UNIX engineer, Robert successfully led the initial implementation of Lawson ERP for one of the country’s largest non-profit healthcare institutions. Principal to the position were utilizing system best practices allowing for a high administrator/system ratio yet still provide effective system(s) management.
Robert is a member of the Nashville Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
Ashley Barton
Ashley Barton is currently employed with LBMC Information Security, LLC. When he joined LBMC in 2012, Ashley brought with him a remarkable depth of experience as a business leader responsible for growth initiatives. He draws on this experience “on the other side of the desk” to quickly grasp an organization’s long-term and immediate information security goals and risks, and then to bring together a team of LBMC professionals that can address those needs comprehensively and within the client’s budget.
During his tenure at Vital Records Control, Ashley led the firm into multiple new markets, including Mississippi, Florida, Kentucky, Nashville and Birmingham. He also oversaw many other operational aspects, including HIPAA and PCI compliance.

Anne Lovell
I am a career service State employee. I have over 36 years of Information Technology experience, with the last seventeen (17) being dedicated to IT security where I serve under the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Tennessee. The CISO’s Office is responsible for the security of the network infrastructure and data resources that are used by over 40,000 employees. My areas of focus include Enterprise Information Security Policy, Audit and Compliance; Risk Management; Education and Awareness; and consulting services for agency IT projects and contracts. I am a founding member of the InfraGard Members Alliance of Middle Tennessee , serving continuously on the Board of Directors. I have also served as the Treasurer since 2003.
